Because girlhood isn’t always pretty or glamorous, so I'm here to make those moments feel a little lighter, a little more fun, and a lot less lonely—one piece of happy mail at a time.
Why did I even start this?
Hi, I'm your Personal Mood Scientist

I went to an all-women's college, and honestly the best part was never the classes. It was sitting on the floor outside our dorm rooms with my four best friends for hours, talking about skincare and boys and everything else, laughing until we forgot whatever we were stressed about, and being honest the way you only are with people who really know you.
Then we graduated. One of them lives in Singapore now. We've done a trip almost every year since — Dallas, LA, New York, Singapore, Greece — and we get on a call every few months, when five schedules actually line up. Which is not often.
It wasn't enough. So I started mailing them letters. Every month, timed to land the week before their period, with what their hormones are actually doing to their skin, something to make them laugh, and a reminder that they're not imagining any of it. I still write every letter to them. Now I'd like to write to you too.
